A long weekend at Center Parcs with the Holts   Download times...
In December 2004 we set off for Longleat Center Parcs to join Ruth, Nathan and the girls in a wonderful villa in the woods. We spent four days enjoying a frosty winter break with plenty of cycling, swimming and cooking great meals. The villa was equipped with our own sauna, steam room and hot tub outside which really made the holiday special. There is nothing like sitting outside in a steaming hot tub at 7am on a freezing morning in a pine forest to wke you up and blow away the cobwebs. We loved it so much we've already booked up for next year.   Please note that in order to present large, high-quality pictures, this page may take almost a minute to download completely. The first few pictures will be visible quickly, but please have patience with the rest!

On the Friday night, I cooked a nice beef in ale casserole for us all - hearty and warming on a cold night. Raffy tucks in...

On the first night we had to try the outdoor hot tub - the air was freezing but the hot water and steam kept us very warm. The children loved it and we had a hard time getting them out. Once the kids had gone to bed, Ruth, Nathan, Vanessa & I relaxed in the tub with glasses of champagne. Now that's the life...

Vanessa took this shot of us all in the tub from the bedroom window upstairs.

Monty had a great time, but needed some help with staying afloat.
